This song is about the rise of conspiracy theories in modern times and the social attitudes towards scepticism that have developed due to this. The song suggests that one can be a sceptic or have a healthy distrust of authority and/or social institutions without being totally delusional. Simultaneously, the song suggests that the popularisation of groups such as QAnon have left a damaging mark on society, influencing a lack of tolerance for ideas outside of mainstream narratives and in turn causing further social division.
